What a referral or affiliate link is

A referral or affiliate link carries a tracking code. If you sign up with a provider, or buy something, through the link, the provider or the network that runs its programme may pay us a bonus or a commission.

Where the links come from

Links on this site may come from provider referral programmes, and from affiliate networks such as PartnerStack, Impact and Rewardful. Providers change their programmes, so the arrangement behind a link can change too.

What this means for you

• You do not get less, pay more or receive a worse offer because a link is a referral or affiliate link.
• A bonus or commission does not decide what we list. Every offer is checked on the provider’s official page, whether or not a link earns us anything.
• A bonus or commission does not decide how we order listings.
• Referral and affiliate links are marked as sponsored in the page code (rel="sponsored"), so browsers and search engines can tell they are paid links.

Some offers need a referral

Some programmes only open to you if you come through a referral, for example from an investor or an accelerator. Where that applies, the catch on the listing says so.

Terms change

Credits, quotas, eligibility and deadlines can change at any time. We check each offer on the provider’s page before we list it, but the provider’s terms are the final word. Read them before you sign up.
